Ingredients You’ll Need

Be sure to visit the recipe card below for full ingredient amounts and recipe instructions!

Charcuterie snack mix starts with dried beef sausage pieces as the meat! We use and all beef sausage mix which turned out great with the other and cracker and fruit and nut ingredients.

We added some pretzels for crunch and a nice salty flavor, and also classic baked cheese crackers. We also added in a mini cracker sandwich mixed with cheese in the middle, but you can use sandwich crackers with peanut butter in the middle instead.

For nuts we added honey roasted peanuts for a bit of sweetness, walnuts, and cashews!

For the dried fruit, I added in some dried cranberries which gave the mix a nice sweetness in each bite.

Additions and Substitutions

You can add in other dried cured meats that don’t need refrigeration into this mix, like shelf-stable pepperoni or beef jerky!

You can add more dried fruit like dried apricots, raisins or dried cherries for a nice sweetness in the mix.

And for nut varieties, you can add in your favorite nut mix! Try it with hazelnuts, pecans, Brazil nuts, almonds, or any kind of nut mix you prefer.

Recipe FAQs

What ingredients are in charcuterie snack mix?

Our charcuterie snack mix recipe has chopped meat sticks, pretzels, baked cheese crackers, cheesy sandwich crackers, a variety of nuts and dried fruit so you get a nice variety. Has all of the same elements of a charcuterie board. Just a new slightly different format.

How long does the snack mix last?

This snack mix is best fresh and enjoyed within in the first 24 hours of mixing… as the ingredients can get stale or soggy when mixed together. See our expert tips below for making this ahead!

Expert Tips

  • If you are keeping a snack mix for more than 24 hours, I recommend keeping the meat sticks separate from the rest of the ingredients. Oil on the meat sticks could cause the rest of the mix to get soggy so it’s best to mix in the meat right before serving.
