This Cheeseburgers in Paradise recipe is the perfect party food to enjoy on a trip to Margaritaville! They're a little sweet, a little savory, and a total crowd-pleaser. These easy sliders go great with chips and salsa, BBQ sides, and a tropical beverage of choice.
In a large mixing bowl, add the ground beef, egg, crushed pineapple, Wircestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
Form into small 2-inch patties, you should be able to make about 16 small patties. Place them on a plate, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate until ready to cook.
Get your grill (or indoor grill pan/cast iron skillet) to high heat - we like cooking around 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Add the burgers to the grill (or grill pan), and cook for 6 minutes. Flip, and cook for an additional 6 minutes on the second side. Add the cheese when you flip the burgers. The burgers are ready when the juices start to run clear on the sides of the burger. For a medium burger, the internal temperature should be 145 degrees Fahrenheit which you can check with a meat thermometer.
Note: If cooking the pineapple slices, you can add them at the same time as the burgers to give them a nice char!
Remove burgers from the grill once done, and assemble the sliders. Add one patty to each Hawaiian roll, 1 pineapple ring, and any toppings your guests desire. Enjoy!
