4 ounces brie cheese sliced into wedges 8 ounces cheddar sliced into sticks or squares 4 ounces goat cheese plain or berry flavored 3 ounces thinly sliced salami 3 ounces prosciutto 6 ounces blackberries 1 cup green grapes 1 cup red grapes 8 ounces assorted crackers 1/2 cup green olives 1/2 cup pickles or cornichons 1/4 cup honey
Start by slicing the cheeses, varying them in size and shape. Place them on the board first as an anchor.
Prepare your meats second. You can add the sliced salami (or make a salami rose!) and arrange the sliced prosciutto to the board.
Next add the crackers, pickles, and olives to the board.
Add the fruit, placing the black berries and the grapes around the cheese and crackers, anywhere there is a free space.
Serve the board with honey or any nuts or additional crackers. Enjoy!
Tips for a Stunning Board
Odd numbers look best on a board: grouping items in 3s or 5s adds visual interest.
Try to vary the textures across the board - that is why we recommend 3 types of cheeses for a nice variety.
Have a nice color balance - along with the dark purple blackberries, it's nice add other reds and pinks, as well as pops or green and yellows.
Leave a little breathing room in the board so it's not too overcrowded.
