You'll love this 3 ingredient margarita with limeade recipe is the easiest, tastiest cocktail you can make without any margarita mix! It takes just 5 minutes to make, and you can make your drink as spicy (or mild) as you like.

Ingredients

  • 64 ounces limeade
  • 2 jalapeno peppers sliced
  • 1 cup reposado tequila

Method

  1. Thinly slice your jalapeno peppers, discarding the stems.
  2. Add the jalapeno peppers into the bottle of limeade. You may have to pour out 1/2 up or so from the bottle so the peppers will fit.
  3. Place the top back on the limeade and shake well. Refrigerate for 1 hour, or overnight for a spicier mix.
  4. Fill a margarita glass with ice. Add 1/2 cup of the limeade mix with 2 ounces of tequila. Stir and enjoy.

Notes

Substitutions and Variations
You can try a different pepper if you prefer - serrano peppers or habanero are slightly spicier, and will give you a lot more heat!
You can make this with lemonade as well.
Want a lighter version, try a zero sugar limeade, or one made with artificial sweeteners for a lower sugar version.
