This French inspired salmon recipe is a quick and simple dinner, easy to make with complex flavors in each bite. Flaky salmon topped with a sauce made from white wine, Dijon mustard, and French herbs, and spices.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 6-ounce salmon fillets
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons white wine
  • 1 teaspoon Herbs de Provence
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet skin-side down (be sure that all bones or scales are removed from the fish before cooking). In a small bowl, add the Dijon mustard, garlic, white wine, Herbs de Provence, and black pepper. Mix well to combine, and coat the tops of the salmon.
  • Bake salmon at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Top with fresh parsley and lemon wedges to garnish.
  • Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
